Feather Fen Wildlife Area is a very unique habitat type explained in the illustration below. Feather Fen has been documented to have some very rare species. These rare species are known just to occur in fens. Part of this area has never been farmed or tiled which also makes it extremely unique. It has great cover for birds and deer and seems to hold numerous wildlife species throughout the year. This is a prodigious area to walk across and enjoy the native species and rare species discovered within its borders. The area covers 22 acres.
